Ned Wilkinson, creator of such Orlando Fringe Festival hits as “TJ & Mr. Oaksite” and “Fosgate Ferret Loan Officer,” this year set his sights on a younger audience with “The Impossible Club,” a peppy and charming musical for middle-schoolers and up.
Fortunately, Wilkinson brings the same skill set to the kids’ table that powers his more adult shows: Catchy rhythms, tuneful melodies and lyrics that keep the attention.

What to Expect
Four kids fight on a playground until they learn better. Though an “anti-bullying” piece on the surface, their story arc is a miniaturization of 20th century world history from the Treaty of Versailles through WWII and the formation of the United Nations.
special Thanks
Ned Wilkinson
Book, Lyrics, and Music

Ned Wilkinson obtained a degree in Commercial Arranging from the Berklee College of Music and has spent nearly four decades finding more interesting things to do than simply putting notes on paper. For 25 years he was the third wheel in a trio with Nick Sibley and Ruell Chappell. His original musicals Dawg Pound Blues and Julie Bunny Must Die were produced by Vandivort Center Theatre, and Julie Bunny received a revival production by OTC. (OPTIONAL: TJ & Mr. Oaksite won Patrons Pick in 2013, and The Impossible Club won Best Family Show in 2021, at Orlando Fringe.) His solo show Rhubarb The Bear: Maximum fuR&B and his Shakespeare spoof musical Fosgate: Ferret Loan Officer were warmly received at the first and second DOTS Fringe. Most recently, his seventh full length musical Flaming Volcano Bed & Breakfast became the first musical to be produced in the 30 year history of Playwrights Round Table of Orlando, FL. https://www.facebook.com/NedWritesMusicalTheater/
