special Thanks

Dr. Teague, for showing me the wonders of theater and inspiring me to continue learning and practicing, and Mrs. Wycoff for showing me how much fun it is to write and for starting my journey

Dakota Pyle

Melody, Playwright, Director

Dakota Pyle was born and raised in Springfield, Missouri. She is currently a senior at Central High School. She’s been active in Central’s drama program since her sophomore year, but she’s had an interest in theater for her whole life that started in kindergarten and hasn’t wavered since. She has recently been in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, and Hadestown: Teen Edition. Besides acting, she enjoys scriptwriting and directing and is excited to share that with an audience. Drama inspires her to engage with the community around her and to be more reflective. It gives her the opportunity to learn more about herself and to push herself. She enjoys watching movies, crocheting, and relaxing in the sun.

Jessie Miller

Fauna

Jessie is a sophomore at Central High School. She enjoys helping out in theater and watching all the shows she gets the chance to. Most recently she officially worked tech for Central High School’s production of Hadestown and a minor role in The Judy’s The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe. In 2024 she was given the “Springfield Little Theatre THE JUDY TECH FRANNIE” award. She is excited to see where her theatre career goes from here, and is “just along for the ride”

Zoey Frerking

Actor

Zoey has always had a passion for theater. She attends Central High School and has worked tech and/or acted in four Central shows. She has been in various drama clubs since 1st grade, but has never had the opportunity to try something outside of school performances, so she is very exited for this opportunity. She has the intention to pursue professional acting as a career, so she’s hoping this play will be a good start. She’s had a blast working with this wonderful cast and looks forward to future projects with them.

Ollie Harden

Mosquito/Ladybug/Ant 2/Stranger 1

As a sophomore at Central High school Ollie is ecstatic to be a part of The Sibillian. Previously he’s been a part of Seussical Jr. (Horton the Elephant), Charlie and Chocolate Factory (Oompa Loompa), Hunchback of Notre Dame (Soldier) and Radium Girls (Dr Knef as well as Lovesick Cowboy.) When he’s not in school he likes to connect with friends over a game of cards, or with himself with an ink pen and notebook. There’s not a time in history he hasn’t been on the creative train, he always has a ticket ready! Whether that train is going to crafts, drawing, writing, or sewing he’s ready to have some fun! He would like to thank both his parents and his directors for their support and lessons that brought him to where he is today.
